How to play

Two teams, Home and Away, race to find their own cards on a 5×5 board. Each team has a Manager who sees the secret key and gives clues, and Players who guess.

The board

• 9 cards for the team that kicks off, 8 for the other.
• 7 Woodwork cards: hitting one ends your possession.
• 1 Red Card: touch it and your team loses at once.

A possession

1. The Manager types one clue and a number, e.g. Catalonia 2.
2. Players suggest a card and confirm with Shoot! Own card = goal, keep going (up to the number plus one). Woodwork or an opponent's card (own goal) ends the possession.
3. You can stop after your first guess with End possession.

Clues

• One word or name as fans say it: Klopp, Galácticos, Tiki-taka.
• Numbers are fine: shirt numbers, years, scorelines like 7-1.
• Not a word on the board or part of one. The app blocks obvious matches.
• 0 or ∞ means unlimited guesses (still at least one).

Football rules (switch on in settings)

• Yellow cards: the opposing Manager can book an illegal clue. Possession ends and they get a free kick (uncover one of their own cards). Two yellows = red, you lose.
• Transfer window: once per match, before your clue, swap one card for a fresh word. It keeps its role.
• Captain's armband: each Manager secretly marks one of their cards. Finding it gives a bonus guess.
• 90 minutes: 9 possessions each. Most cards found wins; a draw goes to penalties.

The first team to find all its cards wins, including cards the other team found for them by own goal.

Duet (2 players, co-op)

• Each of you sees your own key: green cards to find, neutral cards, and Red Cards. Some cards are green on both keys. Your key only shows while you give the clue; when you guess, the board shows just what has been found.
• Take turns giving a clue. Your partner guesses using your key and keeps going while they hit green. Once they find as many greens as your number (2 for "Goal 2"), the turn passes automatically; give 0 or ∞ to leave it open.
• A neutral card ends the turn (it gets an A✕ or B✕ marker). A Red Card loses the match for both of you.
• Find all 15 green cards within 9 turns to win.
• The first two people in the room take Side A and Side B and keep them until the match ends. Anyone else who joins spectates.

Solo vs CPU

• The CPU Manager gives you clues for your 9 cards, built from football links like country, club or nickname.
• After each of your possessions, the CPU Away side finds one of its 8 cards. Beat it to the finish, and avoid the Red Card.
